Key Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility will be to manage the web development team and direct their efforts in regard to the following:
- Portal site maintenance
- Managing the efforts of the Web Dev team and ensuring that they are on time for project ETAs.
- Portal site migration (from other CMS to WordPress)
- Migration efforts in regard to moving from one shopping cart system to another
- Re-skinning entire sites, including the application of style guides.
- Ensuring that campaigns and promotions are constructed properly onto the sites.
- Individual KPI scoring for each of the team members.
- Work with IT Teams and cart teams to ensure the success of projects
Position requirements
- A good knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript
- Excellent management skills
- The ability the measure KPI’s
- Time manage your team
- Put into process (or keep) good practices within the team
- Be able to manage expectations by giving accurate ETA’s that can be relied upon
- Migrate to Word Press from another CMS
- Apply proper plug-ins
- Properly use databases
- Create and manage page templates
- Manage proper release protocol to insure site integrity
- Know the adobe suite
- jQuery
- Ajax
Qualification & Experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (minimum) + Other areas of study providing similar skill sets and experience considered
This is a full time position with a complete benefits package upon hire. The position offers a base salary with quarterly bonuses, medical and life insurance and paid holidays.
