Karachi University produces Industrial Enzymes worth $10mn/year

Dr. A.Q. Khan Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (KIBGE) of Karachi University has produced industrial enzymes that cost nation around $10 million every year to import. The current global market of industrial enzymes is over $2 billion, and is expected to top $2.7bn by 2012 with an average growth rate of 11% per annum.
